Getting Between Concourses
The Aerotrén is a free landside train connecting T1 and T2 in about 5-10 minutes, with a free shuttle bus as a backup or alternative; both require passengers to leave the sterile area first. Because there is no airside link between terminals, all T1-T2 transfers involve full security re-screening, and international arrivals must also clear immigration and customs before re-entering security on the other side.
