LayoverIn answers one question: is your layover long enough? You tell us the airport and how much time you have. We check it against minimum connection times, terminal layout, transit distances, and typical congestion patterns to give you a straight answer.

Where the data comes from

Connection times are based on IATA station-standard minimums — the shortest layovers airlines will sell on a single ticket. These are the bare-minimum danger zone, not comfortable recommendations. Terminal layouts, transit systems, and airport operations are sourced from published airport data and verified against real-world conditions.

What this is not

LayoverIn is a planning tool, not a guarantee. Gate assignments change, flights run late, security lines spike. Our verdicts reflect typical conditions at each airport. Your actual experience depends on factors we can't predict — weather, staffing, which concourse you land in. Use the information here to make a more informed decision about your booking.

Who built this

LayoverIn was built by a traveler who got tired of googling "is 45 minutes enough at ORD" and getting forum posts from 2014. The site covers 40+ major airports worldwide and we're adding more.
