Tips for 30 min Connections
Ride the AeroTrain rather than walking, as concourses are physically far apart and connected by underground tunnels only accessible via the train.
If arriving on an international flight, budget extra time for immigration and customs at the Main Terminal, especially when several widebodies land within the same hour.
Watch for Concourse Z gates, which require a separate shuttle bus ride from the Main Terminal and are not on the main AeroTrain loop.
United's hub operation means many self-connect itineraries, but gates within the same concourse can still be a 10-minute walk apart.
