Brindisi Salento Airport (Casale) is a small single-terminal regional airport serving Puglia's Salento coast, with virtually no true transfer traffic since almost all passengers begin or end their journey here. Connections are technically possible but the airport is not built around them — expect a compact, low-stress layout but very limited flight banking that makes tight connections rare and risky if you must self-transfer. There is only one small terminal building, so all connecting passengers simply walk from the arrival gate area to the departure/security area on foot. There are no airside trains, shuttles, or terminal transfers, and passengers arriving from non-Schengen flights (e.g. UK) must clear passport control before rejoining the single departures area.
