Andahuaylas Airport (ANS) is a small regional airport serving the Apurímac region of Peru's southern highlands, with minimal connecting infrastructure and limited daily flights. Connections are extremely challenging due to sparse schedules, no dedicated transit facilities, and the airport's role primarily as a point-of-origin/destination rather than a hub. Andahuaylas Airport operates as a single, small terminal facility with check-in, security, and boarding all within one compact building. No formal inter-terminal transit systems exist; all movement between arrival and departure areas is on foot within the same structure. Security re-screening is required for all departing passengers regardless of prior security clearance.
