AD PLACEMENT — CONTEXTUAL
Because IPT has no true same-airport connections, treat your real connection as happening at Charlotte or Philadelphia, not here.
The terminal is tiny, so even a 30-minute layover (if scheduled) is more than enough to walk between gates.
Security lines are minimal to nonexistent outside of the two daily banks of American Eagle departures.
If you're flying American Eagle through CLT or PHL, focus your connection planning on those larger hub airports rather than IPT.
There is no lounge or extensive dining, so plan meals before or after your IPT flight segment.

High risk
Tight connections are safer outside peak hours. Morning rush (6–9a), midday (11a–2p), and evening (4–8p) are highest risk.
There is only one small terminal building with two boarding gates a short walk from each other, so there is no shuttle or train system needed. Security re-screening is not a practical concern here since IPT does not host connecting itineraries between two IPT-departing flights — passengers with connections have already cleared or will clear security at their hub airport (CLT or PHL).
