Belfast City Airport (BHD) is a compact, single-terminal regional hub that makes connections straightforward due to its small footprint and minimal walking distances. However, limited flight frequency and fewer onward options mean connections are less common than at major hubs, and tight schedules can be vulnerable to ground delays. Belfast City has a single, integrated terminal building with domestic and international operations co-located on the same level. All passengers walk within the terminal between gates; there is no train, shuttle, or bus required for connections. Security re-screening does not apply to onward connections within the terminal; passengers proceeding to a connecting flight remain in the secure area.
