T1 and T2 are connected only by a free shuttle bus that runs every 10-15 minutes and takes about 10-15 minutes each way, plus walking and waiting time on both ends. Because the terminals are landside-separated, any transfer between them means exiting and re-clearing security, and Schengen/non-Schengen boundaries within T1 add another screening layer for many itineraries.
